Would you like to improve your skills and feel confident to tackle more jobs yourself? As part of our “Share and Repair” goal, we want to share some of the skills so that more people can benefit.
We are planning to start a series of very short, very simple workshops to help everyone, particularly anyone who thinks “I couldn’t possibly do that!” So many of the little jobs around the house are well within the ability of virtually everyone, and yet if you have never seen it done, no wonder it looks complicated. Come and learn the magic!

We are planning courses on:
- Putting up a shelf
- Repairing a jacket
- Getting the most out of your sewing machine
- Replacing a fuse and changing a plug
- Replacing a lock
- Anything else? We are open to suggestions of what skills we should share
Each course will be held at the Old Parcels Office in the middle of Havant and last no more than an hour and a half and by the end of it, you will have learned how to do something new and you will have the practical experience to go home and do it for yourself. Absolutely no prior knowledge or experience is needed and all the materials and tools for each topic will be provided by us. So please come along and discover how much you can do.
